The allocation was obtained through the County’s use of a formula that focuses on Low to Moderate Income (LMI) populations/community and includes a weight for population based on the newly released population data. The above activities meet HUD’s National Objectives by benefiting low and moderate income persons and aiding in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight. A public hearing was held to exceed the Public Services cap of 15% of the grant award. To submit comments, please contact M. Jeannie Fields at 313-563-7709. The posting date was February 6, 2015.
