National Weatherization Day

Capitalizing on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) declaration of October as Energy Awareness Month, Weatherization Programs across the country band together to make a strategic push to raise the public’s awareness of the work we do every day.

National Weatherization Day took place on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Wayne Metro honored the occasion by hosting a celebration that featured weatherization demos, brief presentations, and tours of our newly opened Weatherization Training House.
