excited to announce 2010 “Chat with Chief” Law Enforcement
Community Relations Meetings. We are going into our 11th year of
hosting meetings in order to continue building and strengthening
the relationship between the police department and the residents
of the Inkster community.

Phase I Improvements Begin
The City of Inkster is proud to
announce the commencement of construction at Wheatley Park.
Wheatley Park is located at Beech Daly between Carlysle and Penn
streets, in the South East corner, of the City of Inkster.

Sidewalk
Repair Program
The City of Inkster is happy to announce assistance for sidewalk
repairs to Inkster residents. As a result of the Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) funded Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) Program, we are able to offer grant assistance up to
$1,000 to residents who qualify for the program.

Neighborhood
Stabilization Program (NSP)
The City of Inkster is proud to
announce the receipt of $730,000 in grant funding from Wayne
County through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development. These funds will be used to demolish blighted
structures throughout the city.

emergency service personnel may not be able to reach everyone
right away. By getting trained in CERT, you will have the skills
