NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF INKSTER, WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan
Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, PA 267 of 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Inkster City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. Information to join the meeting virtually can be found at City Hall or at www.cityofinkster.com. The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss the City’s Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which is currently being updated by the Inkster Parks and Recreation Board and Planning Department. Proposed changes are intended to bring the plan into compliance with the requirements of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Public comments are encouraged. Persons unable to attend the public hearing may send their comments in writing to the attention of the City of Inkster Planning Department, 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. Persons may also e-mail comments to Brigitte Smith, Planner at bsmith@mcka.com. Comments will be received through 12:00 noon, Monday, January 2, 2023. Please reference “Parks and Recreation Master Plan” in all correspondence. The draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan is available for review until December 30, 2022, at the Inkster City Hall, located at 26215 Trowbridge, Inkster, Michigan, 48141. The draft Plan may also be accessed at www.cityofinkster.com.
The City of Inkster will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the public hearing to individuals with disabilities upon five business days written notice. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the City of Inkster at 313.563.9770.
