NOTICE OF CORRECTION
CITY OF INKSTER, MICHIGAN
The purpose of this notice is to correct the issue identified below:
- On March 9, 2023, the City of Inkster posted a Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and a Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds for the Inkster Housing Commission proposal to dispose of and demolish a unit at Demby Apartments, 4333 Hickory, Inkster MI 48141 under the HUD Section 18 program De Minimis regulations based on current unit condition which can cause a safety and hazardous condition to the community.
- The RE did not submit the Request for Release of Funds to HUD in a timely manner upon expiration of the fifteen (15) day public comment period. The RE will submit the updated Request for Release of Funds (RROF) at the same time this Notice of Correction is posted for local public comment, so that the new local comment period (15 days) and HUD's Objection Period (15 days) will run concurrently.
- The RE will submit the Request for Release of Funds with proof of public notice to HUD after the required comment period noted above. If no objections are received, HUD will issue the Authorization to Use Grant Funds (AUGF) (7015.16) to the RE.
