As a result, of increased testing of drinking water in Inkster conducted under the State's new Safe Drinking Water Act, the City of Inkster is taking steps to make certain all residents have full access to clean and safe drinking water.
The City has taken steps to provide for all Inkster residents to have access to free water filters.
- The Wayne County Health Department will be providing free filters to any household that has a child or pregnant woman in it
- During filter distribution, social distancing will be practiced. face masks are required and all recipients will be asked to remain in their vehicles during pick-up.
